Spreadsheet, ERP, or ASTITVAAMS?
Almost everyone comes to us from a spreadsheet or from the asset module in their ERP. Here is what each of those does well and where it runs out, so you can judge which one suits where you are today.

You Might Not Need Us Yet
A Spreadsheet Is Fine
One office, a hundred or so items, and somebody who walks past all of them every day. A spreadsheet will hold that together, and paying for software would be wasteful.
Your ERP Is Enough
If all you need is a depreciation figure once a year, and nobody has to find the actual item or record a repair against it, your existing ERP module already does that job.
